Open Source Now Fund

The Open Source Now Fund is a nonprofit corporation that was formed exclusively to assist companies developing software under the General Public License and nonprofit institutions supporting such companies.

The Fund was created by Red Hat to assist companies with any legal expenses associated with litigation related to the development of software under the GPL and to prepare educational materials related to such software and litigation.

Red Hat received an overwhelming number of responses, inquiries and generous offers of donations since the creation of the Open Source Fund. Thanks to all of you who have expressed interest in contributing! The amazing amount of positive feedback and support from the open source community has been outstanding.
