The Costa del Sol is one of Europe's most popular year-round holiday spots, stretching for 160 kilometres to the east and west of Malaga on the south coast of Spain. This coastline enjoys a gentle & mild climate, brilliant sunshine and protection by high mountains from the cold winter wind, creating a micro climate. Set on the southern shore of Spain's mainland the average temperature along the Costa del Sol is 18-20°C. In winter it never freezes and seldom drops below 0°C and in summer reaches 30°C, but with refreshing sea breezes cooling the atmosphere on very hot days. With only about 30 days' rainfall per annum, it is an ideal climate for the active and those who prefer to lie in the sun.

Red Hat has reserved a special conference allotment for attendees. Two nights room and tax are included in registration costs for the conference. Additional nights are at the attendee’s own expense.

Travel information

MALAGA AIRPORT

Shuttle will be provided from the airport on Wednesday, 2nd April at 10am, 11am, and 12pm.

Shuttle service from the hotel to the airport will be also provided on Friday, 4th April at 2pm, 3pm, and 4pm.

Malaga International Airport (AGP) is located just 8km South West of Malaga city centre. It boasts easy access via the A7 & AP7 motorways (well signposted & hard to miss), in addition to bus & train connections.
