Joining the Red Hat Partner Program has many benefits. JBoss Specialized Partners receiving the entitlement, protection, ability and qualification to support their customers running on JBoss.

The former JBoss SI Partner Program is now embedded in the new Red Hat Partner Program. In the past we had separate programs for Red Hat partners and JBoss partners. As JBoss is an essential part of Red Hat's overall Open Source strategy, it was quite natural to not only have joint offerings or seamless integrated technologies. It was also imperative for us to bring together the two different partner programs under a single umbrella offering you a one stop shop for important partner information.

The Red Hat Partner Program is designed to enable System Integrators to participate with Red Hat and JBoss in rapidly growing market opportunity. As our partner you will be able to demonstrate to end users that you have the technology backing of the JBoss team of core developers and that you will deliver the most innovative solutions on the most flexible middleware platform. Furthermore, the growing JBoss partner ecosystem provides end users with the confidence that they demand around interoperability, reliability and flexibility. Together with it's Independent Software Vendors, Red Hat is now dispelling the open source software safety risk concern from customers across Europe, that wish to finally move their system infrastructure to open source.

Red Hat wants to work with System Integrators that are integrating the JBoss Platforms and Frameworks and has developed a program that will allow SI's to take advantage of the ecosystem surrounding JBoss. Our partners are seen as specialists, acting as our trusted advisors through offering “best of breed” middleware, speeding up innovation and significantly lowering TCO for our customers.

To accommodate this strategic relationship, we established Specializations in the new Red Hat Partner Program. JBoss System Integrator Specialization is a unique designation for all our existing and future JBoss partners, following the same principles as the old JBoss program: there are two levels of partnership, the new Advanced level and the Premier level.

JBoss SI Partners will be able to both sell their services around JBoss Enterprise middleware as well as resell JBoss Subscriptions for currently defined platforms or individual JBoss components to their customers. Developer support and training discounts are also available to our JBoss Specialized partners.

JBoss Specialization in a nutshell:

1. System Integrator Partners joining the Red Hat Partner Program will be enabled to best serve their customers with all different services: consulting, integration, migration, customized application development – just to name a few. JBoss, as a division of Red Hat will provide the necessary support as well as valuable trainings and industry accredited certifications (as a requirement; to be met within the first 90 days of partnership) to help you develop the market and support your solutions that are built on or compliment JBoss technology.
2. As Red Hat Partner, you can leverage your new and secured ability to support your customers at the front line. If you develop custom-built solutions for your clients, then you can enjoy the comfort of being secured by the Red Hat developer support, which is always available to you for help – as often as you require!
3. In case there's a problem at your customer's installation, your customers enjoy the security of being Red Hat supported at all times through Red Hat's subscription model.

Partners in the JBoss System Integrator area of the Red Hat Partner Program are seen as JBoss experts and are also promoted as such to our customers. JBoss SI Partners are our preferred partners for joint customer engagements.
