Additionally, HP and Red Hat are partnering to expand the potential of modular HP BladeSystem platforms--an integrated foundation ideal for the migration, consolidation and simplification of complete infrastructures.

Red Hat Enterprise Linux is fully supported at a Tier 1 status on all HP servers. Our complementary service arrangement allows HP to provide customers with Levels One and Two support and to work Level Three issues directly with Red Hat on behalf of the customer. In addition, HP engineering has added a comprehensive set of complementary base drivers, installation scripts, and management software to provide optimal integration for Red Hat Enterprise Linux on its servers.

Finally, HP offers sales options, including drop-in-the-box, standalone OS for customers upgrading existing hardware, and HP's Factory Express, which provides Linux and any associated software pre-installed, pre-configured and pre-populated at the factory and delivered anywhere in the world.
