Maximize the value of onsite training

Increasingly, customers who have purchased onsite training are interested in keeping the instructor for a day or two, or perhaps more, following course completion. In addition to the knowledge transfer, they want the instructor to roll up his or her sleeves and help them apply what they've learned to their specific environment. This is especially true for JBoss onsites, where customer teams are often in training, for example, to complete a high level development initiative. A given team might have a Web 2.0 project that requires them to leverage the Seam framework to integrate AJAX and EJB3. Or perhaps a group of participants must learn JBoss ESB to integrate their business components and services into automated business processes.

In both situations, the courses offer a focused curriculum that provides participants with the means to complete their time-sensitive projects. But once the instructor leaves, it's largely on their shoulders to complete the work. Not understanding a unit or two is often not an option.

Workshops combine Red Hat's world class training with a mini consulting engagement to help you, the customer, apply the knowledge that you've learned in class to your existing challenge or project. The duration is completely up to you - maybe you want the instructor to stay for the remainder of the week, or perhaps you require the following week as well. Either way the instructor will ensure that classroom skills lead to workplace achievement.
