ice President, Platform Business Unit Scott Crenshaw leads Red Hat's Platform Products Group, where he holds P&L responsibility for Red Hat Enterprise Linux, as well as the company's storage, clustering, and MRG product lines. Prior to joining Red Hat, Scott was CEO of NTRU, a security technology vendor whose investors included Greylock, Sony and Texas Instruments. Scott held a number of executive positions at enterprise software vendor Datawatch, most recently as Vice President of Business Development and Vice President, Product Development. Scott was a Sloan Fellow at the MIT Sloan School of Management; he received an MBA from MIT and a B.S. in Computer Science from North Carolina State University.
Sacha discusses the progress made by JBoss after its acquisition by Red Hat, the dynamics in the marketplace, and the Enterprise Acceleration Initiative.
Born in Neuchatel, Switzerland 1975, Sacha Labourey was the General Manager of JBoss (Europe) SàRL until its acquisition by Red Hat in 2006, and was focused on managing the rapid expansion of the JBoss, Inc.'s European business. Currently CTO of the JBoss Division at Red Hat, Sacha Labourey first met with JBoss at the end of 2000, when JBoss was mainly a project and the recently founded JBoss Group, LLC was a two-men-one-women company. In March 2001, Sacha contributed the first implementation of the clustering features in JBoss. While being JBoss Clustering Lead, Sacha partnered with JBoss Group to deliver services in Europe. In 2003, Sacha founded JBoss (Europe) SàRL, in Switzerland, and became General Manager EMEA. While at this position, Sacha participated in the recruitment of some of the key JEMS products (jBPM, Drools) and drove the acquisition of the Arjuna Transaction Monitor from Arjuna Technologies and HP. In 2006, Sacha was appointed as CTO of JBoss, Inc. Prior to the JBoss, Inc., he was the founder of Cogito Informatique, a Swiss consulting firm company working in the application server and middleware fields. Mr. Labourey is a graduate of the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology graduate computer science program.

Werner Knoblich joined Red Hat in May 2003 as head of sales for Northern Europe. In 2004 Werner took over sales for whole EMEA and since March 2005 he is Vice President and General Manager for Red Hat EMEA. Prior to Red Hat Werner worked for over 6 years in the USA at MainControl and MRO, both companies in the IT Asset Management space. The first five years after University Werner worked in sales at USU Softwarehaus in Germany.

Jim Whitehurst is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Red Hat. Whitehurst joined Delta Airlines in 2002, serving in various roles, most recently as Chief Operating Officer, responsible for Operations, Sales and Customer Service, Network and Revenue Management, Marketing and Corporate Strategy. Prior to joining Delta, Whitehurst served as Vice President and Director of The Boston Consulting Group (BCG) and held various leadership roles in their Chicago, Hong Kong, Shanghai and Atlanta offices. A native of Columbus, Ga., Whitehurst graduated from Rice University in Houston, Texas, with a bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Economics. He also attended Friedrich-Alexander University in Erlangen, Germany, holds a general course degree from the London School of Economics and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
